Architecture carried through to the interiors.
PBD Architects · Lorena Gaxiola
At 15 & 17 Strachan Street, PBD Architects’ grounded architectural expression is carried inward by Lorena Gaxiola through warm materials, strong geometry and quietly resolved detail.
The terracotta entry and sculptural kitchen joinery show the connection between the building’s exterior and its interior palette.
A terracotta threshold
Terracotta continues from the walls to the paving, with planting and warm lighting giving depth to the entrance.

Stone, timber and light
Pale timber joinery and a sculptural stone island bring texture and rounded forms into the kitchen. The light scheme is one of the interior palettes for Mason Kingsford.
